  Minimum Entry Requirements:
  
  Basic Fire Fighting:
  -Full Grade XII Certificate or GCE ‘O’ Level Certificate with Merits in Mathematics and Science (Physical Science or Physics) ---Credit in English Language and any other related two subjects (i.e., Technical Drawing, Geography, Metalwork, or Chemistry).
  -Must pass the aptitude test.
  -Must be medically fit.
  
  Leading Fire Fighting
  -GCE‘O’ Level Certificate or equivalent with at least Credits in Mathematics, English Language and Science (Physical Science or Physics).
  -Be at least 25 years of age. Must pass aptitude test.
  -Must have work experience of at least two years in related industry.
  
  Assistant Fire Officer
  -GCE ‘O’ Level Certificate or equivalent with at least Credits in Mathematics, English Language and Science (Physical Science or Physics).
  -Be at least 25 years of age. Must pass aptitude test.
  -Must have work experience of at least two years in related industry.
  
  Fire Officer
  -GCE ‘O’ Level Certificate or equivalent with at least Credits in Mathematics, English Language and Science (Physical Science or Physics).
  -Be at least 25 years of age. Must pass aptitude test.
  -Must have work experience of at least two years in related industry.
  
  Duration
  The duration for Basic Fire Fighting is ten (10) weeks, Leading Fire Fighting ten (10) weeks, Assistant Fire Fighting eight (8) weeks and Fire Officers course is eight (8) weeks.
