The Institution is situated in Garissa town, Township Constituency, GarissaCounty. It has two sites, the Upper Campus, located next to Garissa CountyTeaching and Referral Hospital, and the Lower Campus is situated at theCentre of Garissa town next to GK Prison (Mainly used as hostels).Year of Establishment: 1980Inception and Growth:The Campus was started by the Government through the Ministry of Health among other Provincial Medical Training Centres in 1980 with the first intake of Kenya Enrolled Community Health Nursing and has grown to four programs.
