  Course entry requirements:
  (i) SSSCE Candidates
  -Must have Six (6) credit passes (A-D) comprising three (3) Core Subjects, including English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science), plus
  -at least a credit pass in Chemistry and
  -A credit pass in any two (2) of the following electives: Physics, Biology, General Agriculture, Animal Husbandry OR Horticulture OR Forestry, Elective Mathematics.
  
  (ii) WASSCE Candidates
  -Must have Six (6) credit passes (A1-C6) comprising three (3) Core Subjects, including, English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science, plus
  at least a credit (A1-C6) in Chemistry and credit passes in any two (2) of the following electives: Physics, Biology, General Agriculture, Animal Husbandry OR Horticulture OR Forestry, Elective Mathematics
  
  (iii) Mature Applicants
  -Must be at least 25 years by 1st August of year one wants to apply.
  Must hold:
  (a) Teacher’s Certificate ‘A’ OR
  
  (b) SSSCE/WASSCE Certificate OR a Certificate of Professional training from a recognized institution.
  -Must pass the UEW Entrance Examination.
  
  (iv) Diploma Candidates
  -Must possess a Higher National Diploma (at least Second Class Lower) or its equivalent in a relevant subject from a recognized institution.
  -Must pass an interview.
  
  (v) General Certificate of Education, Advanced Level (GCE “A” Level)
  -Five (5) credit passes at GCE “O” Level including English Language and Mathematics in addition to two (2) “A” Level passes other than General Paper in the following: Physics, Chemistry, Biology OR Agricultural Science, Mathematics.
