    Course entry requirements:
    1. Bachelor‟s degree (second class lower honours and above) with a CGPA of 3.0/5.0 in Development Studies, Social Sciences, Management Sciences, Business Administration/Public Administration, Environmental Studies, Humanities, Engineering,Physical Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Agricultural Economics from the University of Nigeria or any other recognized university or as determined by the Faculty Board.
    2. Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) passed at Credit level in any of the disciplines listed in number 1 above from the University of Nigeria or as determined by the Faculty Board.
    3. In addition to the qualifications listed in (1) and (2) above, candidates must possess five credit passes in WASC or GCE or NECO “O” Level in English Language, Mathematics and any other three qualifying subjects for undergraduate admission in the candidates

    Course duration:
    (i) Full Time Minimum of four (4) semesters and;
    Maximum of eight (8) semesters.

    (ii) Part-Time Minimum of six (6) semesters and;
    Maximum of ten (10) semesters.

    Admission to the programme shall be open to:
    (a) Candidates who hold a B.A. or B.Sc (Hons) degree in any of the social science subjects or related disciplines with at least a second Class Lower Division from any university recognized by the senate of Benue State University
    (b) Candidates who hold qualifications which together with a relevant experience are deemed by the Faculty Board to be the equivalent of (a) above.
    (c) All candidates for admission must have also possessed the basic entry qualification into the undergraduate programme in the first instance
