•  Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso  
  Admission requirements:
  Admission to 100 level is on the basis of performance in the University Matriculation Examination (U.M.E.) conducted by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) or good performances in the Pre-Degree Science Programme final examination.
  In addition, candidate must have at least five credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology at the S.S.C.E/G.C.E O'Level or its equivalent in order to qualify for admission into any of the faculties. For this purpose, a combination of credit passes at ”0” Level in five science subjects and at not more than two sittings is acceptable.
  Candidates are also required to fulfill such faculty and department entry requirements as may be prescribed from time to time.
  
  Admission by Direct Entry
  Admission to 200 level by Direct Entry is based on the performance at the G.C.E. ”A” Level Examination or its equivalent. Applicants with any of the following qualifications may be considered for admission by Direct Entry, provided all the five subjects at '0' Level are obtained at not more than two sittings;
  ND with upper credit/HND/N.C.E. at credit level in relevant subjects (plus U.M.E. requirements) may be considered for admission into the 200 Level.
  Penalty for Gaining Admission with Falsified Credentials/Certificates
  Candidates admitted to the University are seriously warned in their own interest, not to present false credentials/certificates to the University for their admission. The laws that established LAUTECH empowers the Senate to deprive any person of any degree, diploma or other award of the University which has been conferred upon him/her if, after due enquiry, it is discovered that the candidate has fraudulently gained admission into the University or obtained that award.
•  Osun State University, Osogbo  
  Admission requirements:
  U.T.M.E. Requirements
  To qualify for admission into the programme in the Department, a candidate must possess at least five (5) credit passes in SSCE or NECO (O’ Level), obtained at not more than two sittings, which must include the following subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any other Science subject.
  
  Candidates with acceptable passes in the Pre-Degree Programme Examination of the Osun State University and that have an acceptable pass in the UTME may also be admitted into the 5-year degree programme of the Department.
  
  Direct Entry Requirements
  Candidates with passes at the Advanced Level (A-Level) in relevant subjects, which must include Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and those with OND, NCE (Upper Credit) and HND (minimum of lower Credit) from any higher institution recognized by the University Senate may be admitted into the 200-level, provided such candidate fulfill the UTME admission requirements of the Department. Candidates with acceptable passes in the Advanced Diploma Programme of Osun State University may also be admitted into the 200-level, provided such candidate fulfill the UTME admission requirements of the Department.

  Admission requirements:
  (i) UTME (UNIFIED TERTIARY MATRICULATION EXAMINATION)
  
  Candidates for the 5-year programme normally seek admission through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) organized by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB). Such candidates should possess five passes obtained in not more than two sittings of the Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) or the General Certification of Education (GCE) Examination or their equivalents.
  
  The fiver s must include English Language, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. An acceptable pass in UTME is required. It is also desirable for candidates to have Further Mathematics and Technical Drawing at levels. Such candidates shall have added advantage.
  
  (ii) Direct Entry
  
  For Direct Entry, candidates must have passes in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry at GCE 'A' level or equivalent. Holders of OND and HND at minimum of upper level are eligible for consideration for admission into 200 and 300 levels respectively. In all cases, however, emphasis will be placed on suitable basic qualification in mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

  Minimum entry requirement:
  1. Ordinary level Requirements
  -Five credit passes in GCE (or Equivalent) examination at not more than two sittings with at least two passes at the Advanced (‘A’) level GCE;
  -Four credit passes at advanced level or its Equivalent
  
  2. UTME Requirements
  -The Senior Secondary School or the School Certificate/General Certificate of Education (SSCE/GCE) ordinary level credit passes in five subjects including Chemistry, Physics and Biology for Sciences and Mathematics, English, Economics, Commerce or Accounting, Government and Biology/Agric. Science for Management Sciences)
  -Grade II Teacher’s Certificate with Credit/merit passes in at least five subjects including English Language, Mathematics and Economics;
  -An acceptable score in the UTME as may be determined by the University from time to time; and
  -JAMB combination MUST include Mathematics, Economics, and Accounting or Commerce
  
•  The Federal University of Technology Akure, Akure  
  Admission requirements:
  (a)UME Admission
  
  Admission to 100 level is through the UME of the joint Admission Matriculation Board.To be eligible for admission,candidate must have the GCE(OL)or WASSCE or NECO or equivalent with at least five credit passes in subjects which include English Language,Mathematics,Physics, and Chemistry at NOT more than two(2)sittings.

  In addition to the requirements specified in (a)above,candidates seeking admission to the 200 levelmust possess:

  Good passes at the Advanced level of General Certificate of Education or its equivalent in chemistry,physics and Mathematics.

  Course requirements
  
  (a) 200 UTME Scores and must have passed in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any one other science subjects.
  
  
  
  (b) Direct entry into 200 level
  
  Applicants must in addition to UTME qualification in (a) above have lower credit at National Diploma (ND) or merit at NCE level.
  
  Candidates with IJMB must score a minimum of five points or four points (CPES, FUT, Minna) and pass at least two (2) subjects relevant to their proposed courses.
  
  
  
  (c) Direct entry into 300 level
  
  Applicants must in addition to UTME qualification in (a) above have lower credit at Higher National Diploma (HND) level in their proposed courses.
•  Caritas University, Enugu  
  Entry requirements:
  Admission into the department of Computer Engineering conforms to the admission requirements into any other department of the Faculty of Engineering. It states that the basic O' Level qualification for admission of students into the department through University Matriculation Examination (UME) includes O' Level credits obtained in not more than two settings in at least five subjects. The subjects must include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any other science related subject. In addition the candidate must obtain an acceptable pass mark in the UME result as may be determined by JAMB, Caritas University as well as the department of Computer Engineering.
•  Oduduwa University, Ipetumodu  
  Admission Requirements:
  The minimum entry requirement for undergraduate programmes at Oduduwa University is credit level passes in 5 subjects at the O’Level examinations. The subjects must include English Language, Mathematics and one relevant subject obtained at not more than two sittings. There are other requirements peculiar to some certain colleges and departments.
  Prospective students must attain the UTME cut off mark.
  2 or 3 A' Level Credit Passes are required.
