  Course entry requirements
  Local Students:
  (i) Passed STPM/Matriculation/Pre-University programme with minimum GPA of 2.33 in TWO of the following subjects:
  -Biology
  -Physics/ Mathematics
  -Chemistry
  OR, A-Level with minimum Grade D in the following subjects:
  -Biology
  -Physics/ Mathematics
  -Chemistry
  OR, Related Diploma from recognized institutions with minimum CGPA of 2.75;
  
  OR, Related Diploma from recognized institutions with CGPA below than 2.75 and a minimum of THREE (3) years working experience in the same field.
  
  AND, MUET* Band 3.
  
  *Exemption of MUET is given to candidates who hold a diploma or foundation that is conducted in English
  
  International Student:
  -Proficiency in English (Required for those whose medium of instruction is no in the English language.)
  
  -Pass International English Language Testing Services (IELTS) with a minimum of 5.5 orTest of English as a foreign language (TOEFL) with a minimum of 550
  
  Course duration: 4 Years / 12 Semesters
  
  Intake: April, August and November

  Course entry requirements:
  (i) Pass the Malaysian Higher School Certificate (STPM) / Matriculation / A-Level / Pre-University Programme or other qualification equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 the following subjects:
  • Biology / Physics
  • Chemicals;
  AND Passed the Certificate of Education (SPM) / O-Level with five (5) credits, of which three (3) credits in the following subjects:
  • Life Sciences
  • Physics
  • Mathematics
  • Chemistry
  • English;
  OR
  (ii) Passed Diploma (Level 4 Qualification Framework (MOF) in a related field from any HEP with minimum CGPA of 2.75; OR
  (iii) Diploma (Level 4, MOH) in a related field from any HEP with a CGPA of less than 2.75 and has a work experience of at least three (3) years (36 months) in a related field.
  (iv) Competence of English for international students: Getting a score of 6.0 for IELTS or TOEFL minimum score of 550.
