•  Kwararafa University, Wukari  
  Course entry requirements:
  (i) Admissions through the UTME
  For admission to 100 level, candidates must possess five (5) credit passes at Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSSCE), GCE, NECO or equivalent in relevant subjects in not more than two sittings; and obtain a score of 140 and above in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.
  
  -University shall insist on possession of credit passes in English Language and Mathematics for all categories of students.
  -The University shall also conduct post JAMB screening to ensure that only the best students are admitted. In addition to the general admission requirements stated above, a candidate must meet specific departmental requirements
  
  (ii) Admission through Direct Entry mode
  -For admission to 200 level, candidates must possess five (5) passes at credit level (including English Language) at Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSSCE), GCE, NECO or equivalent in relevant subjects in not more than two sittings.
  -In addition to the above, candidates should have at least two advanced level passes in the General Certificate of Education examination in relevant subjects, or
  -Ordinary National Diploma with credit level or Nigeria Certificate of Education (NCE) with Credit level.
  -Passes in two IJMB/JUPEB courses out of the three
  
  Admissions into 300 level
  Candidates with HND, or third class degree can apply for admission into 300 level.
  
  IJMB
  Kwararafa University also offers the Interim Joint Matriculations Board (IJMB)programme. It is a nationally recognized one year programme which offers successful candidates the opportunity of gaining Direct entry (200 level) admission into any of the Universities
  
  (iii) The entry requirements for IJMB
  For admission to IJMB, a candidates must possess four(4) credit passes at Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSSCE), GCE, NECO or equivalent in relevant subjects in not more than two sittings.
  
  The subjects offered at IJMB include: Lit. in English, History, CRK, Government, Economics, Business Studies, Accounting, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Geography, Agricultural Science, among others.
  
  A combination of any 3 subjects grants admission to study for degrees in:
  -The Natural Sciences
  -Health Sciences
  -Engineering
  -Agricultural Science
  -Social and Management Sciences
  -Humanities
  -Arts
  -Law
  
•  Federal University, Dutsin-Ma, Katsina  
  Admission requirements:
  A minimum of five (5) subjects passed at not more than two sittings with at least two at the principal or advanced level of the G.C.E. and the others, at credit level of the SSC/GCE O/Level; no subject shall be counted at both Ordinary and Advanced Levels.
  
  Acceptable level of passes in two major subjects at the NCE with SSC O/Level credits or equivalent in THREE other subjects (mainly for Education Courses). Education may be accepted as a third A/Level subject for those taking course in Education.
  
  Acceptable level of passes in two subjects at the IJMB examination or Cambridge moderated school of Basic Studies terminal examination or International Baccalaureate from recognized institutions with SSCE/GCE O/Level credits or equivalent in three subjects;
  Ordinary National Diploma (OND) with at least a lower Credit Pass from recognized institutions, with a minimum of five ‘O’ level credits passed at a sitting.
  
  HND passed at lot less than lower credit from recognized institution plus 5 ‘O’ level credit passed at a sitting.
  
  Applicants must write UTME and attain an acceptable score in the use of English and three other subjects relevant to the proposed course of study and further obtain an acceptable score at the compulsory University post-UTME screening test;
  
  For a candidate who has attained the acceptable standard in the UTME to be registered for a course in the University, he must have passed five subjects (including English Language and Mathematics) at credit level at not more than two sittings in the General Certificate of Education (GCE) Examination (WASCE), National Examinations Council (NECO) or National Business and Technical Examination Board (NABTEB) in subjects relevant to the course of study.

  The Admission Requirements
  The minimum admission requirements for programs of the Faculty are as follows:
  
  Level 100 (UTME) Admissions
  
  A candidate shall have an acceptable score in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) with the correct subject combination.
  A candidate may also be required to sit for a Post-UTME screening examination to be conducted by the University and obtain an acceptable score for the program applied for as may be set by the University Senate from time to time.
  A candidate shall possess the SSCE/GCE/TC II or equivalent with credit passes in five subjects, at least three of which shall be in the relevant area, obtained in not more than two sittings including English Language and Mathematics (where applicable).
  Level 200 (Direct Entry) Admissions
  
  A candidate for direct entry admission shall apply only through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
  A candidate shall possess at least one of the following qualifications obtained from recognized institutions that are licensed to run them:
  A two-year recognized diploma in the relevant area with a minimum of a good Lower Credit or equivalent.
  A two-year recognized diploma plus a one-year advanced diploma in the relevant area with a minimum classification of Lower Credit or equivalent.
  The National Certificate of Education (NCE) with a minimum of 9 points in the relevant subjects.
  The Interim Joint Matriculation Board Advanced Level Examination (IJMBE) with a minimum of 8 points in the relevant subjects.
  Any other qualification deemed equivalent to these by the Senate of the University.
  In all cases, ‘O’ Level credit in English Language and Mathematics (where applicable) shall be required.
•  Federal University, Birnin Kebbi, Birnin Kebbi  
  Admission requirements:
  The entry requirements shall be at least credit level passes in five subjects including English Language, Mathematics, to form the core subjects with credit in three other relevant science subjects Biology, Chemistry, Technical drawing, Agricultural Science and Geography at the Senior Secondary School Certificate or its equivalent and atleast a pass in Physics. In addition, an acceptable pass in the University Matriculation Examination (UME) into 100-level is required. For the B.Sc. Programme in Biological Sciences, candidates must have credit level passes in Biology, Chemistry and at least a pass in Physics.
  
  Direct Entry
  Expected duration for Direct Entry (DE) candidates with two A level passes (graded A-E) at the Advanced Level in one or more relevant subjects (Biology, Botany, Chemistry, Geography, Mathematics and Physics) may undertake the three – year degree programme into 200-level.Students are required to complete a minimum of 120 units for Graduation, 60 of which must come from the relevant option areas in Biological sciences.
•  Sokoto State University, Sokoto  
  Admission requirements:
  UTME
  
  Five (5) credit passes in Senior Secondary School Certificate or its equivalents in addition to acceptable pass in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.
  
  Direct Entry
  
  NCE with at least merit pass in 2 relevant subjects or a double major subject with SSCE requirements or its equivalent in five (5) subjects.
  A pass at merit level in a relevant Diploma Programme (provided the O/L requirements are satisfied).
  Advanced level passes in 2 relevant subjects with SSCE requirements.
  Any other equivalent qualifications with SSCE requirements.
  Any other equivalent qualifications.
•  Umaru Musa Yar'adua University Katsina, Katsina  
  Admission requirements:
  UTME:
  Five credit passes at SSCE (or its equivalent) in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and any of Computer Studies, Geography, Physics Agricultural Science, Animal Husbandry or Foods and Nutrition in not more than two sittings.
  
  Direct Entry:
  
  Candidates with a minimum of 9 points in IJMB/ HSC/GCE A level/NCE, in Biology and Chemistry.
  
  Candidates with a minimum of Lower Credit pass in National Diploma in relevant subject from recognized institutions may also be admitted.

•  Lead City University, Ibadan  
  Admission Requirements (JAMB/Direct Entry):
  The minimum entry requirement for admission into Lead Ciity University is GCE O/L, SSCE/NABTEB/ NECO or equivalent credit level pass in five(5) subjects, including English Language, and Mathematics, obtained at not more than two sittings. Those with additional (Direct Entry) qualification such as University Diploma, NCE, IJMB, OND, GCE 'A' Level or equivalent professional qualification etc are to proceed from part II. However, candidates awaiting result may apply provided evidence of results would be available before resumption.
•  Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Minna  
  Minimum entry requirement:
  1. 4 Year Degree programme through UME: Candidates must have 5 ‘0’ level credits. These should include English Language. Mathematics, Biology and any two subjects from the following: Chemistry, Physics, Geography, Economics and Agricultural Science.
  
  2. 3 Year Degree programme through Direct Entry: Candidate must have minimum of merit pass in Biology, and Education at NCE level and 5 0’ level credit pass which must include Biology, Mathematics, any one Science subjects and English Language.

  1. Applicants must write UTME and attain an acceptable score (National JAMB Minimum Cutoff) in the use of English, Biology, Chemistry and Physics or mathematics .

  Admission requirements:
  Five Credits at SSCE (or its equivalent) including English & Mathematics and any other 3 subjects preferably Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Agricultural Science in that order. Two A level passes in Mathematics and either Physics and /or Chemistry. NCE with credit passes in Mathematics and another Science subject plus 5 Credits at SSCE (or equivalent) UME subjects are English, Mathematics and any two of Physics, Chemistry, Biology depending on the subject of specialization.

  UTME:
  Five Credits at SSCE (or its equivalent) in English, Mathematics and Biology and any other science subjects
  Direct Entry: Two “A” level passes in Biology and any one of Physics, Mathematics or Chemistry in that order. Credit passes in OND.Two “A” level passes in Chemistry and any one of Physics, Mathematics or Biology in that order. Credit passes in OND.
  Remarks: UME subjects are English, Chemistry mathematics and any of Physics, Geography Biology.

  Admission requirements:
  Five (5) Credit passes in relevant subjects including English Language and Mathematics obtained at not more than two sittings in O'level Examinations.(WAEC/NECO).
  
  Applicants are required to have taken the 2016 JAMB examinations with a score of 140 and above.
