  Course entry requirements
  -Level 7 ordinary degree, at minimum second class honours (NFQ or other internationally recognised equivalent), in a relevant engineering, computing, mathematics, science or technology discipline.
  
  -Applicants that do not meet the standard qualification requirement but with significant relevant experience in the computing/technology sector will be considered under the University policy that allows for the recognition of Prior Learning, both formal and informal/experiential learning; non-accredited personal and professional education as well as work based training. Such applicants will be requested to provide a portfolio of their previous relevant work which might suggest that they are capable of successfully completing the course.
  
  -The University reserves the right to shortlist and interview applicants so that the course admission team are satisfied that they have the requisite ability in Mathematics and Computing to derive benefit from this course and to satisfy the programme outcomes.
  
  Applicants who do not have English as their first language may satisfy English Language requirements:
  -If your qualifications have been obtained in a country where English is an official language this will suffice
  -If this is not available, the following additional documents must be provided:
  -English translation of your qualification(s)/transcripts
  AND
  -English language competency certificate
  
  Course duration: 1 year
