Entry Requirement:
For the M.A. programme, a Candidate must possess a B.A. or B.Sc. degree (minimum of Second Class Lower with grade point of not less than 3.0) in Mass Communication from the University of Jos or an Accredited University that is recognized by the Senate of the University of Jos. Also, candidates with a Bachelor Degree in any of the Social Sciences or Humanities and a Professional Diploma in Mass Communication, Journalism, Broadcasting, Public Relations and Advertising or Media Studies (with appropriate professional membership registration and years of experience) may apply.

Admission requirements:
1.Candidates must satisfy the matriculation requirements of the University including English Language.
2.Candidates with Bachelors degree in Mass Communication from an approved university with its CGPA of not below 3.0 on a 5 points scale shall be considered for admission.
3.Candidates with a minimum of second class lower degree in relevant disiplines and a CGPA of 3.00 on a five point scale.
4.Candidates with a good Post Graduate Diploma (3.5 CGPA) in Mass Communication from accredited University shall be considered.
