  Course entry requirements:
  UTME Requirements
  Students intending to enroll in Food Science and Technology must satisfy the general University entrance requirements below:
  -minimum of five Ordinary Level (SSCE or NECO) credit passes in English Language, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and any other science subjects at NOT more than two (2) sittings.
  -minimum UTME / Post-UTME score for admission into the programme which shall be determined by the University Admission Committee.
  
  Direct Entry Requirements:
  (i) Candidates for direct entry who fulfill the conditions in (i) above and who also have additional passes of satisfactory grade at ‘A (Advanced)’level in Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics or candidates with Ordinary National Diploma (OND) Certificate from approved Universities, Colleges of Technology or Polytechnics with a grade not lower than upper credit may be considered into 200 Level.
  
  (ii) Other qualifications as may be approved by the University Senate
  
  Mode of study: Full time
  
  Course duration: five (5) years of study for candidates through UTME, and four (4) years for candidates through Direct Entry.
