Course Entry Requirements:
(a) The minimum admission requirements for the BEd Hons degree, is a four-year professional
teaching degree (in Senior phase and / or FET phase teaching) within the particular subject
(b)An appropriate Bachelor’s degree (within appropriate subject area) and a recognized
professional teaching qualification (in Senior phase and / or FET phase teaching) with an
average of 60% pass mark in disciplinary area,
(c) For candidates to enroll for the BEd Honours Degree in Language Education– they must
have majored in English, Sepedi, Tshivenda or Xitsonga;

Course Duration:
(a) Minimum one year
(b) Maximum two years
