  Course requirements
  
  (i) Candidates must have a Bachelors Degree in Tourism, Hospitality or any other related field of Kenyatta University or a recognized institution by the Kenyatta University Senate.
  
  (ii) Candidates must have a Masters Degree in Tourism, Hospitality or related field from Kenyatta University or a recognized institution by the Kenyatta University senate. In addition, the applicants must have taken a minimum of 10 course units with an average of a B and above and the research must be by thesis.
  
  (iii) Candidates must have proven research ability and have successfully defended a concept paper at the department.
