Thika Campus is located adjacent to the Thika Level V Hospital in Thika Sub-County of Kiambu County.Year of Establishment: 1969Inception and Growth:Between 1966-1971, an agreement, was made between Kenya and Norway concerning the building, equipment, and staffing of Thika School of Community Nursing.The graduates were to serve in Kenya’s Rural Health Facilities established after independence.The Campus was started with the help of the Norwegian Government. The first group of students was admitted in June 1969 and an official opening was done by the late President Mzee Jomo Kenyatta on 16th November 1969.
