•  Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso  
  Admission requirements:
  Admission to 100 level is on the basis of performance in the University Matriculation Examination (U.M.E.) conducted by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) or good performances in the Pre-Degree Science Programme final examination.
  In addition, candidate must have at least five credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology at the S.S.C.E/G.C.E O'Level or its equivalent in order to qualify for admission into any of the faculties. For this purpose, a combination of credit passes at ”0” Level in five science subjects and at not more than two sittings is acceptable.
  Candidates are also required to fulfill such faculty and department entry requirements as may be prescribed from time to time.
  
  Admission by Direct Entry
  Admission to 200 level by Direct Entry is based on the performance at the G.C.E. ”A” Level Examination or its equivalent. Applicants with any of the following qualifications may be considered for admission by Direct Entry, provided all the five subjects at '0' Level are obtained at not more than two sittings;
  ND with upper credit/HND/N.C.E. at credit level in relevant subjects (plus U.M.E. requirements) may be considered for admission into the 200 Level.
  Penalty for Gaining Admission with Falsified Credentials/Certificates
  Candidates admitted to the University are seriously warned in their own interest, not to present false credentials/certificates to the University for their admission. The laws that established LAUTECH empowers the Senate to deprive any person of any degree, diploma or other award of the University which has been conferred upon him/her if, after due enquiry, it is discovered that the candidate has fraudulently gained admission into the University or obtained that award.

  Admission requirements;
  (I) Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME)
  
  Candidates for the five year programme in Civil Engineering normally seek admission through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) organized by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB). Such candidates should possess five credits passes obtained in not more than two sittings at the Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) or the General Certificate of Education (GCE) Examination or their equivalent. The five credits must include English Language, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and an acceptable pass in JAMB is required. It is also desirable for candidates to have Further Mathematics and Technical Drawing at credit level. Such candidate shall have added advantage.
  
  (II) Direct Entry:
  
  Candidates for the four year programme should in addition to o’ level requirement for the five year programme be in possession of some acceptable advanced qualification such as the Higher school Certificate (HSC) or the GCE advance level in appropriate subjects – Mathematics, Physics And Chemistry . Holders of suitable Engineering and Technology diploma at the National (ND) or Higher National level (HND) may be considered on merit into 200 and 300 levels respectively with a minimum of upper credit level.

  Admission requirements:
  UTME Requirements
  To qualify for admission into the programme in the Department, a candidate must possess at least five (5) credit passes in SSCE or NECO (O’ Level), obtained at not more than two sittings, which must include the following subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any other Science subject.
  Candidates with acceptable passes in the Pre-Degree Programme Examination of the Osun State University and that have an acceptable pass in the UTME may also be admitted into the 5-year degree programme of the Department.
  
  Direct Entry Requirements
  Candidates with passes at the Advanced Level (A-Level) in relevant subjects, which must include Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and those with OND, NCE (Upper Credit) and HND (minimum of lower Credit) from any higher institution recognized by the University Senate may be admitted into the 200-level, provided such candidate fulfill the UTME admission requirements of the Department.
  Candidates with acceptable passes in the Advanced Diploma Programme of Osun State University may also be admitted into the 200-level, provided such candidate fulfill the UTME admission requirements of the Department.
•  Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma  
  Entry requirements:
  1.The degree programmes in Engineering and Technology normally last five years, post school certificate or equivalent.
  2.For admission to all degree programmes, candidates must satisfy the admission requirements of the University in general, and of the various departments of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology in particular.
  3.Entry through the University Matriculation Examination (UME), the Minimum entry requirements for year I or 100 level shall be 5(five) credit passes in the School Certificate Examinations, GC.E. O’ Level, or equivalent obtained in English Language, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and any other subject from the approved list, plus acceptable level of performance in the University Matriculation Examination (U.M.E.).
  4.Direct Entry (D.E.) candidates may be admitted into 200 - Level (year 2) if they have, 1. Satisfied the admission requirements as specified in( c) above and ii. Obtained passes at the G.C.E. A’ Level or equivalent in Physics, and mathematics. Candidates with outstanding N.C.E Technical or O.N.D. results may be considered.
•  The Federal University of Technology Akure, Akure  
  Admission requirements:
  (a) UTME Admission
  
  Admission to 100 Level is through the UTME of the JOint Admission and Matriculation Board Examinatiobn in subjects such as English Language, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. To be eligible for admission, candidates must have a minimum of credit pass in the General Certifcate of West Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (WASSCE) or NECO or its equivalent at not more than two (2) sittings in the following subjects:
  
  Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, and English Language.
  
  U.M.E Subjects: English Language, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics.
  
  (b) Direct Entry Admission
  
  In addition to the requirements specified above in (a), candidates seeking admission to 200 Level must possess:
  
  (i)ND at Upper Credit Level ro equivalent in civil engineering or realted discipline from recognised institution , or
  
  (ii)Good passes at the General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) or its equivalent in Chemistry, Physics, andMathematics.

  Admission Requirements

  In addition to an acceptable pass in both UTME and post UTME screening exercises, candidates must have obtained at not more than two sittings, credit passes in Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) or its equivalent as approved by the senate of Imo State University in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any other subject from Agricultural Science, Further Mathematics, Economics, Biology, Technical Drawing and Geography.
  
  Direct Entry:
  
  i.Candidates with Upper Credit level passes in National Diploma (ND) or its equivalent qualification in Electrical /Electronic Engineering and Computer Engineering may be admitted into the 200 level of the department.
  ii.In exceptional cases, candidates with HND credit passes or its equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering may be admitted into the 300 level.
  iii.Candidates in (i) and (ii) above must satisfy the O’ level requirements of the department.

  Minimum entry requirement:
  1. Ordinary level Requirements
  -Five credit passes in GCE (or Equivalent) examination at not more than two sittings with at least two passes at the Advanced (‘A’) level GCE;
  -Four credit passes at advanced level or its Equivalent
  
  2. UTME Requirements
  -The Senior Secondary School or the School Certificate/General Certificate of Education (SSCE/GCE) ordinary level credit passes in five subjects including Chemistry, Physics and Biology for Sciences and Mathematics, English, Economics, Commerce or Accounting, Government and Biology/Agric. Science for Management Sciences)
  -Grade II Teacher’s Certificate with Credit/merit passes in at least five subjects including English Language, Mathematics and Economics;
  -An acceptable score in the UTME as may be determined by the University from time to time; and
