  -Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree from Covenant University or any other University recognized by the Senate of Covenant University.
  
  -Preferably, candidates with First Class, Second Class (Upper Division), and Second Class (Lower Division with a minimum CGPA of 3.00) in the relevant disciplines may apply. The minimum duration of study for the award of the Master’s degree is two academic sessions for full-time.
  
  In addition, the Covenant University conducts screening exercise for all candidates seeking admission into the University.

  Admission requirements:
  1.Candidates must have five credit passes including English, Mathematics and two other relevant science subjects at ‘O’ Level.
  2.Candidates with Bachelor’s degrees from an approved university must obtain a minimum of second class lower division with a CGPA of 3.0/5.0 for an academic programme.
  3.Candidates with at least a third class degree or HND plus University PGD with CGPA of 3.0/5.0 may be considered for admission into academic Master’s degree programmes.
  4.Admission is open to the students having Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry of Crescent University or other recognized universities with at least a second class lower degree with a CGPA of 3.0/5.0. The students from other streams holding bachelor’s degree with a minimum of a second class lower in related courses such as Biology, Botany, Zoology, Nutrition, Food Science and Biotechnology may also apply, providing such candidates took relevant courses in Biochemistry and passed them at the undergraduate level.
  5.Candidates may be required to undergo a selection process. That is, candidates without background in Biochemistry may be required to audit some courses at the lower level

  i. Eligibility shall be any of the following:
  a. A graduate (BSc) of Lagos State University and other Universities recognized by the Senate of Lagos State University having a minimum of second class lower division in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Physiology and other related Science courses.
  Graduates from other disciplines related to Biochemistry will be considered on their individual
  merit.
  b. A Biochemistry graduate (B.Sc.) of Lagos State University and other Universities recognized by the Senate of Lagos State University with a pass or third class degree, but that has successfully completed the Postgraduate Diploma in Industrial Biochemistry with a CGPA of 3.50 and above.

  Entry Requirements:
  For M.Sc. Biochemistry, candidates must possess with Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and/or Molecular Biology with a minimum of second class lower division from a recognized University. The selection process is based on the quality of the academic transcript of the first degree. There maybe an interview. Candidates with MBBS degree and FIMLT Clinical Biochemistry with at least two years post qualification experience may also be considered. However, such candidates must take a concessional written entrance examination and subsequent interviews.

  Course entry requirements:
  -Candidates must satisfy the O’ Level requirements for matriculation into first degree programmes of the University i.e. Five (5) Credit passes at not more than two sittings including English Language and Mathematics.
  
  -Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree from Bells University of Technology, or any other approved University, with a minimum of Second Class lower division in relevant fields.
  
  -Candidates with a Third class degree or HND plus University PGD in relevant subject may also be considered for admission.

  Course entry requirements:
  -Graduates of Kwara State University or other recognised universities who have obtained the approved degree of Bachelor with a minimum of Second Class Upper Division.
  -Candidates with Second Class Lower Division may, however, be considered for admission. Such candidates may be subjected to qualifying examination.
  In addition to above, a candidate must satisfy the university’s requirements for matriculation.

  Course entry requirements:
  -Candidates must have a minimum of 2nd Class Lower Division degree of Achievers University, Owo or any other recognized university in the proposed programme of study. Candidates with a 3rd Class Bachelor’s degree or HND (minimum of Lower Credit) must have, in addition, a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) with a minimum CGPA of 3.50 maximum CGPA to qualify for admission.
