    A candidate for Direct Entry into the degree programme of the College of Law, Osun State University must have;

    A two-year or three-year Diploma Certificate (Upper Credit) of Osun State University or any other recognised institution, plus credit level passes in at least five (5) papers, including English Language and Literature in English, in the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (S.S.C.E.) or G.C.E. “O” Level examination or their equivalent; or
    Three (3) papers at principal level in Higher School Certificate Examination (H.S.C.E) or General Certificate of Education (G.C.E.) Advanced Level, together with credit passes in not less than three other subjects including English Language and Literature in English in the S.S.S.C.E. or G.C.E. “O” Level examination or their equivalent; or
    Two (2) papers at Principal Level in H.S.C. or G.C.E. Advanced Level plus credit passes in four (4) other papers (including English Language and Literature in English) in the S.S.S.C.E. or ‘G.CE. “O” Level examination or their equivalent; or
    A degree, in a relevant discipline, of Osun State University or any other recognised University of not less than a Second Class Lower Division.
    Candidates that have successfully gone through the approved and relevant University Sub-Degree programme may be qualified for admission, provided they possess other admission requirements as stated above.

    (i) By Joint Matriculation Entry Mode:
    A candidate for admission into the Faculty must possess at least S.S.S.C.E. or G.C.E. Such a candidate must also have at least, a pass in Mathematics or a Science subject. Not more than one commercial or allied subject, such as Commerce, Business Methods, Account, Book ­Keeping, Typing, etc. is acceptable.

    (ii) Through Direct Entry Mode:

    A candidate for Direct Entry admission shall possess five credit passes in the G.C.E or S.S.C.E. or equivalent including English Language and English Literature obtained at not more than two sittings or of which at least two shall be at Advanced Level provided the credit passes at the ordinary level include English Language and English Literature: or
    A good honours degree or postgraduate degree of the Ambrose Alli University or of any University or College of approved standard in the discipline.
    Every direct entry candidate should also have at least, a pass in Mathematics or a Science subject. Not more than one commercial or allied subject, such as Commerce, Business Method, Account, Book-keeping, Typing, etc. is acceptable.

    UTME:

    Candidates of this category must possess Senior Secondary Certificate, or an ‘0’ Level Certificate with credit passes in five (5) subjects, including English Language and English Literature obtained at not more than two sittings. At least one of the credits must be in a science subject or at least pass in Mathematics, such a candidate must also have an acceptable pass in the Joint Matriculation, Examination.

    Direct Entry:

    Candidates of this mode of admission must conform with the National Universities requirements for direct entry. Those include:
    *Must satisfy U.T.M.E. requirements in (i) above plus A two-year or three-year Diploma certificate or second class upper or lower division degree in related courses;
    *Must satisfy U.T.M.E. requirements in (i) above plus Three (3) papers at Principal or Advanced level in the Higher School Certificate or G.C.E.
    *Must satisfy U.T.M.E. requirements in (i) above plus two papers at principal or Advanced level or H.S.C or G.C.E.
