  (i) Direct Entry Scheme (Form VI)
  To be eligible for direct admission to a degree programme applicants must have obtained: –
  -At least three (3) credit level passes in approved subjects in the Certificate of Secondary Education (“O” level);
  
  AND
  -At least two (2) passes in approved subjects in the Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education level (“A” level) with total of 4.0 or more points. Where:
  
  Completed “A” level studies before 2014: A=5 points, B=4 points, C=3 points, D=2 points, E=1 point and S=0.5 point
  
  Completed “A” level studies in 2014 and 2015: A=5 points, B+=4 points, B=3 points, C=2 points, D=1 point and E=0 point
  
  Completed “A” level studies from 2016 A=5 points, B=4 points, C=3 points, D=2 points, E=1 point and S=0.5 point
  
  (ii) Equivalent Entry Requirements
  To be eligible for equivalent admission to a degree programme applicants must have obtained:
  
  At least four (4) passes in approved subjects in the Certificate of Secondary Education (“O” level);
  
  AND
  
  A diploma of 3.0 GPA in the field relevant to the programme being applied for from a recognized institution of learning.

  Course entry requirements:
  -Lower Second Class Diploma with a GPA of 3.0 in Finance and Banking or Economics and Finance, Economics and Project Planning, Insurance and Risk, Taxation, Credit Management, Accountancy and Micro Finance, Accountancy with Information Technology or Business Management or Procurement and Logistics Management or Human Resources Management or Business Administration or Development Planning or Enterprise Management or Community Development or Local Government Administration or Public Administration or Accountancy or any related qualification AND 4 passes at O level or Foundation Programme of the OUT with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
  
  OR
  
  -Form VI with two principal passes in the following subjects: History, Geography, Kiswahili, English Language, French, Arabic, Fine Art, Economics, Commerce, Accountancy, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Advanced Mathematics, Agriculture, Computer Science or Nutrition or Foundation Programme of the OUT with a minimum GPA of 3.0

  Course Entry Requirements:
  - Form VI with at least two Principal Passes at D grade with a total of 4.0 points from the following subjects; English, History, Kiswahili, geography, Agriculture, Economics and Commerce.
  - Diploma in Human resource Management OR Diploma in Gender and Development, Community Development/Full Technician Certificate, Social Studies , Record Management, Social Work, Journalism, International Relation and Diplomacy, Secretarial Studies and Office Management with an average of GPA 3.0 and above or 4 passes at 'O' Level (SCEE).

  Entry Requirements:
  - Form VI with two (2) Principal passes excluding religious subjects with a total of 4.0 points, OR
  - Ordinary Diploma (NTA Level 6 or Non-NTA) in relevant field with a GPA of not less than 3.0 points, OR
  - Ordinary Diploma in Teacher Education with a GPA of not less than 3.0 points or average of a B grade plus four (4) passes in form IV excluding religious subjects, OR
  - Full Technician Certificate (FTC) with an average of a C grade.
