(a) UTME CANDIDATES
(i) Candidates are required to have sat for the 2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) with a minimum score as approved by JAMB.

(ii) Achievers University Cut off mark is 140

(iii) Applicants must also obtain a minimum of five credit passes at not more than two sittings in WAEC (SSCE)/ NECO (SSCE) or NABTEB. These should include English Language, Mathematics and any three other subjects relevant to the proposed course of study.

(b) DIRECT ENTRY CANDIDATES
(ii) DIRECT ENTRY CANDIDATES (200 LEVEL)
-As for A (ii.) above, but with 2 passes at either A Level, IJMB or JUPEB examinations. Holders of ND, NCE, or ATS results in relevant disciplines are also eligible for admission. Candidates are also expected to have purchased the Direct Entry form of JAMB for the 2021/2022 Academic Session.

-Bachelor of Nursing Science (B.NSc.) candidates shall, in addition to A (ii.) above, hold at least two A Level passes in Biology/Zoology and any one of Chemistry or Physics; OR the Registered Nursing Certificate (RN) of the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria; OR a B.Sc. degree (with at least Second Class Lower) in any of the Biological Sciences.

-Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (B.MLS) candidates shall, in addition to A (ii.) above, hold at least two A Level passes in Biology/Zoology and any one of Chemistry or Physics; Medical Laboratory Technician Diploma of the medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN); B.Sc. degree (with at least Second Class Lower) in any of the Biological Sciences; or HND (with at least Lower Credit) in Microbiology and Science Laboratory Technology.

-Candidates applying for any of the Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) programmes, shall, in addition to A (ii.) above, hold at least two A Level passes, including Mathematics and Physics; OR National Diploma (Upper Credit) in Engineering.

-LL.B., candidates shall, in addition to A (ii.) above, have obtained two papers at Principal or Advanced level in HSC, GCE, IJMB or JUPEB; OR an acceptable bachelor’s degree. A minimum of WAEC/NECO SSCE/GCE O Level credit pass in Literature in English is mandatory for all intending candidates.

(ii) DIRECT ENTRY CANDIDATES (300 LEVEL)
Candidates should be holders of HND in their respective fields of study. HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Statistics or Mathematics is acceptable for B.Sc. Computer Science. HND in Computer Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering is acceptable for B.Eng. Electrical and Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering and Biomedical Engineering.

Holders of professional certificates such as ACA, ACIB, ACIS, ACIN and ACIT are eligible for admission at this level.
Madonna University, Okija
Admission requirements:
(a) Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME)

Candidates seeking admission into the Doctor of Optometry (O.D) degree programme must have: A good score in the prescribed Unified Tertary Matriculation Examination (UTME) for admission into the first year of the 6-year programme. The candidate must have a Unit in English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. In addition, the student must satisfy the university matriculation requirements, with Units at WASC, GCE, or NECO, O’ level in the relevant subjects. The relevant courses must be passed at one sitting in each Examination Board category.

(b) Direct Entry:

(i) For direct admission into the second year (200 level) of the programme, the candidate must have passed 2 of the relevant subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology)at advanced level of the General Certificate of Education (G.C.E) or its equivalent.

(ii) A Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in any basic sciences, medical science or health sciences from a recognized university with a minimum of second class lower division.

(iii) A Higher National Diploma (HND) in any relevant science programme (merit) from a recognized institution. They must also pass the general study courses done at 100 and 200 levels.

(iv) Merit in Higher Diploma in Dispensing Opticianry is acceptable.

Admission criteria:
-Current Unified Tertiary Matriculations Examination (UTME) Result
-Five O' Level (WAEC, NECO, GCE, NABTEB and IGCSE) Credit Passes at one sitting to include English Language, Mathematics, Literature in English, and any other 2 Social Sciences or Arts Subjects are required for admission into College of Law.
-Five O' Level (WAEC, NECO, GCE, NABTEB and IGCSE) Credit Passes at one sitting to include English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology are required for admission into the MBBS Programme.
-Other Programmes: Five O' Level (WAEC, NECO, GCE, NABTEB and IGCSE) Credit Passes at not more than two sittings to include English Language, Mathematics and three (3) other subjects relevant to course of study.
-Results of PAST Unified Tertiary Matriculations Examinations (UTME) are not allowed.
-Candidates awaiting SSCE results or its equivalent can also apply for admission provided they qualify when results are available.
