    Applicants should possess at least:
    a. A good honours degree with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division (2.2) in Philosophy of the Department of Philosophy, Lagos State University, or any Department of Philosophy of a university in Nigeria or elsewhere in the world, recognized by the Senate of the university.
    b. In exceptional circumstances, graduates of other disciplines may be considered for admission.
    The department may recommend remedial courses in philosophy for such students where some deficiencies are noticed.
    c. Candidates must satisfy the O’ Level admission requirements as spelt out by the Postgraduate
    School.
    d. All candidates shall be subjected to a selection process

    Course duration: 2 semesters

    Course duration:
    a) A full-time M.A program me shall run for a minimum of three semesters and for a
    maximum of four semesters;
    ii) A part-time M.A. programme shall run for a minimum of six semesters and for maximum of eight semesters.
