  Admission criteria:
  Admission into the programme is open to candidates with 4.0 CGPA in M.A. Theatre Arts programme of Lagos State University. Candidates with the Master’s degree of other Universities recognised by the Senate of Lagos State University and whose transcripts are adjudged to be adequate for the course shall be eligible for admission. Such candidates, however, may be required to take courses at lower levels as the Department may prescribe.
  
  Course duration: Minimum of six (6) semesters and maximum of twelve (12) semesters.

  Course entry requirements:
  -A candidate must have a good master's degree in Theatre Arts (with a CGPA of not less than 3.50) from a recognized University. A candidate considered deficient in any way shall remedy such deficiencies by taking courses at the M.A. course work level. In addition each candidate must submit a proposal that he/she shall be required to defend at the end of the coursework, before going into the write-up stage.
